01 - Brief

Launching a luxury brand and website for a premium hay producer.

With a unique production process, which guarantees a high quality, dust free hay year in year out, The Little Hay Co approached us to design the brand and launch the business online. It was important that the brand reflected the product's origin: a family run farm in the Cotswolds with one aim, high quality hay. As a creating a brand that reflected this, a beautiful, functional e-commerce website was created and an online marketing strategy developed.

Quality over quantity

Brand Design
We worked to create a memorable brand that reflected the premium yet personal business values. This brand has been used across all the company assets, including the website, social media and marketing materials. We carried this identity across to their packaging, which we created to reflect the premium nature of the product.

Website Design
We designed and launched a Shopify website to showcase and sell the full product range to rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, chinchilla, degu or tortoise owners across the UK. It was important that the website reflected the premium nature of the brand, so it needed to look good and work well and designing an appropriate user journey to complement the brand was paramount. It provides an interface for e-commerce sales and reveals extensive brand detail. As part of the website design, we conducted keyword research and implemented this language throughout, to increase visibility on Google search rankings and help grow brand awareness online.

Social Media Management
As part of our strategy to launch Little Hay Co, we partnered with trusted experts Bam Bam Social to manage their social accounts and build an audience for the brand. We used engaging photography and video reels, brand collaborations and giveaways to build a loyal following.

Premium Design, Premium Online Presence

The Little Hay Co now has a premium brand identity, with a website and packaging that reflect the quality of their premium hay. The website is bespoke, functional and responsive, providing direct e-commerce sales and extensive product and brand information. The client has an Instagram account with a loyal follower base that has grown steadily and provides a platform for the client to continue to extend their market.

We are now working on an on-going basis with the Little Hay Co providing them with Email Marketing, SEO, Social Media & Google Ads Management services.
